1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms govern your use of the Soberise mobile application and website (soberise.net). By creating an account, you confirm you are at least 17 years old and agree to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Soberise is a self-help and habit-tracking application designed to support personal sobriety journeys. It is NOT a medical device, clinical service, crisis intervention tool, or substitute for professional treatment.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call your local emergency services immediately.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Providing accurate information during registration
- Keeping your contact information up to date
You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Post harmful, abusive, or threatening content in community features
- Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
- Share content that promotes substance use or self-harm
- Attempt to access other users’ private data
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our source code
5. Subscription and Billing
Soberise offers a free tier and an optional premium subscription.
Premium subscriptions are billed through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play. All purchases are subject to the respective platform’s terms.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- To cancel, manage your subscription through your App Store or Google Play account settings
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google per their respective policies
6. Intellectual Property
All content within Soberise — including articles, designs, logos, and software — is the property of Soberise and protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce or distribute our content without written permission.
Your personal data (journal entries, check-ins) remains yours. You grant us a limited license to store and process it to provide the service.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Soberise is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific needs.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Soberise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ukraine.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
