Recovery rarely happens alone.
Beyond the daily tracker for the person themselves, Soberise has two ways to bring in the people who want to help — a therapist or sponsor the client trusts to follow their progress, and an employer or Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that gives a whole team access.
For therapists and sponsors
Trusted View lets a client invite someone they trust to follow their recovery progress. It is not a separate dashboard or portal — the trusted person uses the same Soberise app, just signed in with their own account.
What is shown
Sober-day count, daily check-in streak, mood and craving trend over the last 30 days, and recent craving-log entries.
Who grants access
Only the client. They send the invitation by hand. Without an invitation, no account can see anything.
Can be revoked
The client can revoke access at any moment, right inside the app — no explanation, no delay.
Alerts (optional)
If the client chooses, the trusted person gets a push notification about a possible relapse, a long silence in check-ins, or a spike in risk.
Private by default
The personal journal and any free-text notes the client writes are never shown to the trusted person — not even to a therapist. That space stays the client’s own. Trusted View gives the shape of progress, not access to their thoughts.
How to set it up — step by step
Both people install Soberise and sign in
The trusted person needs a normal Soberise account — there is no separate web console for therapists. Install from the App Store or Google Play and sign in.
The client sends an invitation
In the client’s app: open the profile, go to Trusted View, tap Invite, and share the link or code with the trusted person by any channel.
Profile → Trusted View → Invite
The trusted person accepts
Open the invitation link (or enter the code) in your own Soberise app and confirm. The connection is now active.
Progress appears automatically
The client’s progress shows up in your app under the people you follow. It updates on its own as the client checks in.
Turn on risk alerts (optional)
The client can enable push alerts for you from the same Trusted View screen — relapse, prolonged silence, or a risk spike.
Revoke any time
Either side can end the connection. The client opens the same screen and taps Revoke access; it takes effect immediately.
Profile → Trusted View → Revoke access
The client needs an active premium subscription for their data to be visible. For the trusted person, following the first client is free; each additional client they follow requires their own premium subscription.
For employers (EAP)
A bulk code pack lets you give your team premium access to Soberise without contracts or manual invoicing — you buy it yourself, right in the app, and hand out the codes.
How it works — step by step
Buy a code pack in the app
Packs of 5, 10, 25, 50 or 100 codes, each code worth 1 month or 1 year of premium. Purchase runs as a normal in-app purchase through the App Store or Google Play — you need your own Soberise account; there is no separate web checkout.
Profile → Team codes → choose a pack
Your codes appear in the app
Each code is a short text string with a status — not activated, or activated (and by whom). Copy them out whenever you need.
Hand out the codes
A code is just a string. Send it by any channel that suits you: email, company chat, a printed poster, an onboarding pack.
Activation A — employee already has the app
They open the profile, tap Enter code, paste the code, and premium switches on right away.
Profile → Enter code
Activation B — employee doesn’t have the app yet
Before installing, they open the activation page and bind the code to their work email. Premium turns on by itself the moment they register in the app with that same email.
If the email doesn’t match
The code stays valid. They sign in, open the profile, and enter the code by hand instead.
Profile → Enter code
Common questions
How long does a code last? add
1 month or 1 year of premium from the moment it is activated — depending on the pack you bought. It does not expire while it sits unused; the clock starts on activation.
How does an employee check that it worked? add
In the app: Profile → subscription status. It will show “Premium until …” with the end date.
Can one person use several codes? add
Yes. Activating another code extends premium from the current end date, so a yearly plan can be topped up.
What if someone loses their code? add
If it hasn’t been activated yet, you can see it — and re-share it — from your Team codes list in the app.
Works for teams of any size that want to make a gesture of care — without paperwork or long integrations.
